What Happened To Us

Former best friends Autumn and Kennedy survive a devastating attack on America trapped in a long-forgotten Cold-War era fallout bunker. 500 days after the attack, the two women emerge into a desolate world they no longer recognize in search of lost loved ones, safety, and a way back to each other.

Meet the stars of What Happened To Us, Autumn and Kennedy.

Autumn Worthy was born on March 8, 1991, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Rebecca and Timothy Worthy. The eldest of three siblings, with younger brothers Sam and Sean, Autumn grew up surrounded by family and community. At five years old, she met Kennedy, the girl from across the street, and the two quickly became inseparable, their friendship shaping much of her early life until it unraveled during their junior year of high school.

After graduating from Nottingham High, Autumn pursued her dream of medicine, eventually finding her calling as a trauma nurse in the emergency room at Baton Rouge General Hospital. While studying at LSU, she met Adam, and though they’ve been together ever since, Autumn often wrestles with the quiet sense that she deserves more than the life she’s settled into.

Kennedy Holt was born on July 27, 1991, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Ron Holt and Camilla Silva. She spent her early years in her grandmother’s care, until her passing left Kennedy in the hands of a volatile father and a struggling, addicted mother. An only child, she found her first true sense of belonging at age five, when she met Autumn across the street. The two became inseparable, their friendship carrying her through childhood, until high school put distance between them.

Despite constant bullying over her sexuality, Kennedy graduated high school and earned scholarships that took her to USC and later Louisiana Tech, though she never finished her degree. Now back in Baton Rouge, she drifts between waitress jobs, determined to survive on her own terms, even when the world seems set against her.
